More sleepless evenings spent playing with other people's characters. This time it's two of 's finest, Starshield and Starblast. Hard to believe this is the first time I've drawn Starblast, lol. I really liked this pic up until my Photoshop color profile started picking a fight with me. Not sure if other monitors will show this the way mine does. Sigh. You get the idea though, jumpy flying action. Woo!
Hope you like it, Matt, and congrats on 6 years on DA, buddy!
You are getting so unbelievably good! It's really awesome to have been able to actually see your growth as an artist. What an awesome gift for your friend
I love it, thank you So much. The lighting is insane in this. I love the amount detail in his gun belt and Starblast looks downright REGAL! I like that you stuck to the color choices too (that's what i dug about your HeroCorp piece) It really lends alot to the recognition factor.
Killer, Geno. This is a punch-you-in-the-face-with-awesomeness piece. Nailed the color palette and the perspectives all hold. Even as a thumbnail preview this image is eye-catching.

I think this might be a wacky pose too far with the sword arm, but I like the unconventional composition of this picture. Putting the less well known (by me, anyway!) character in the foreground and having him partially obscure Starblast makes this look a lot more real somehow. Nice colouring as always too!

Any pics in my gallery that look good are because God shone through. Any that don't are because I wasn't listening to Him.

Essentially not everyone can be a hero because some people need saving. And someone needs to be the guy to save the civilians from.
