Okay, so after an IM chat with my fellow Cranky Octopus-er :iconkostmeyer: last weekend, what was going to be free sketch #9 turned into a friendly character design challenge. So here it is, a new villain for his original character Vigil... Sharkath the Slaver!! I just kind of let the pencil do the walking on this one (and the eraser did more than it's share of re-walking too, lol). Hope you guys like it. It was fun to try and do something outside of my usual design comfort zone. :)

This is great Gene - Ideas are already forming about how I can use him - looks like a major scary threat doesn't he? I love characters with two fingers and toes btw - it looks great and its easy to draw - what's not to love? :D

That's part of the reason he doesn't have long pants. With such a complicated head/shoulder region I figured the less busy the rest of it is the better. And I second the coolness of two fingers & toes, heh. I'm really glad you like this guy. Definitely looking forward to whatever you end up doing with him. :D
